Basic formula for math

Area of triangle = 1/2× base× height  ∆

Area of rectangle = Length× breadth []

Area of equilateral triangle = √3/4 × side ×side

Area of parallelogram = Base × Height

Area of square = side × side

Area of circle = ¶×r×r

Area of semi-circle = (¶× r×r)/2

Area of general quadrilateral = 1/2 × diognal×(hight 1 + height 2) 

Area of rhombus = 1/2 × (diognal 1 × diognal 2)

 Area of trapezium = 1/2 × (sum of all parallel side) × height

Total surface area of cube = 6 × side × side

Lateral surface area of cube = 4 × side × side

Total surface area of cuboid = 2× ( L×b + b×h + L×h)    where L = length, b =breadth, h = height


Lateral surface area of cuboid = 2 × (L+b)× h 


Curved surface area of cone = ¶rL

Total surface area of cone = ¶r(L+r)

Volume of cone = 1/3׶r×rh


Surface area of sphere = 4¶r×r

Volume of sphere = 4/3¶r×r×r

Curved surface area of hemisphere = 2¶r×r

Total surface area of hemisphere = 3¶r×r

Volume of hemisphere = 2/3׶r×r×r

Total surface area of cylinder = 2¶r(r+h)

Curved surface area of cylinder = 2¶rh

Volume of cylinder = ¶r×rh

Perimeter of triangle = sum of all side

Perimeter of square = 4 × side × side 

Perimeter of rectangle = 2× (L+B)

Circumfrence (perimeter) of circle = 2¶r

Circumference of semi- circle = ¶r + d , where d = diametre, r = radious
