Eassy on - My Country

The name of my country is India. The capital of India is New Delhi. There are 28 states and nine union territories in India. The Ganga and the Bramputra are the longest rivers of India. Mumbai, Delhi, kolkata, Chennai, Banglor are big cities of India. Kashmir is called the heaven of earth. About one Arab forty crore people live in our country. The National language is Hindi. Dr. Rajendra Prasad was the first president and Pt. Jawahar lal Nehru was the first prime Minister of India. India is called a secular country because people of all religions are lived  here and treated equally. 
                            
                                  Every citizen has the spirit of fraternity. India has diverse cultures but all are one called Indian. There are several beauty spots in our country. For instance, Nainital, Utti, Masoori, Shimla, Darjeeling, Kashmir and so on. India is the large producer of Rice, wheat, millets, sugarcane, vegetables, fruits, spicer etc. It is the land of gods and goddesses. There are several festival celebrated here. For example, Id, Holi, Diwali, Durga puja, Baishakhi, pongal etc. 

                   There are a large number of forests, mountains, lakes, canals in India. India is the second largest populated country of the world. It is a peninsula. India is the country of the confluence of three rivers and three seas. There are a number of historical monuments in India. As , The Taz Mahal, the Red Fort, the Lotus Temple, the Golden Temple, the Sun Temple, the Qutub Minar and so on . Finally I may say that east or west India is the best . I like it the most and I am greatly proud of it.

Eassy on = Republic Day in your school - National festival in your school .

The Republic Day is a day of joy for the people of our country. It is celebrated on the 26 January. India become a republic on the 26 January 1950. India had been under British rule for centuries. We got independence on the 15th August 1947 we made our constitution and its come into force on the 26th January 1950. So, the Republic Day celebrated on 26 January, every year. The Republic Day is a red-letter day in the  history of our  country. This year we celebrated the Republic Day in our school in a fine way. It is celebrated all over the India with great pomp and show. First of all the teacher, student and other employees of the school gathered in the school compound in early morning. We were asked  to go to the prayer ground for the flag hoisting ceremony.
